UK pharmacies warn patients are using AI-doctored photos to get Mounjaro and Wegovy
Member pharmacies of the National Pharmacy Association report patients submitting AI-edited photos, or hiding weights in pockets, to look eligible for GLP-1 jabs, and the NPA wants verification rules to keep pace. The GPhC's Roz Gittins said weight, height and BMI should be checked with a provider other than the pharmacy, and pharmacists who fail to verify patients properly face sanctions.
