NHS Western Isles prescribes GLP-1 drugs at nearly triple the rate of other Scottish boards
A first-of-its-kind report from the ABPI, the industry body for drugmakers, found big differences between Scottish health boards in prescribing new medicines, with the widest gap in access to GLP-1 drugs. The Western Isles prescribes them at almost three times the rate of any other board, and the Scottish government says it will consider the findings.
