Anti-sickness pill cut semaglutide-related vomiting in a phase 3 trial
Vanda says its oral NK-1 blocker tradipitant (Nereus) reduced vomiting during semaglutide treatment to 43% of people versus 58.5% on placebo, with bigger drops in frequent and extreme vomiting in post hoc analyses. The company plans to take the results to the US FDA; this is a company announcement and the drug is not available for this use in the UK.
