Walgreens expands GLP-1 weight-management services in the US
The US pharmacy chain added insurance-coverage checks, prior-authorisation help, extra pharmacist support for new starters and an online resource hub to its $49 virtual weight-management visits. Walgreens said more than half of people who start a GLP-1 for weight loss stop within a year, which it framed as the reason for ongoing support.
