Used weight-loss pens in recycling bins are injuring waste workers, industry warns
The Sunday Express reports that used Wegovy and Mounjaro pens are turning up in household recycling in growing numbers. Sherborne Recycling in the West Midlands said a worker needed hospital treatment, vaccinations and blood tests after a needle went through two pairs of gloves, and the industry is urging users to put pens in sharps bins.
