Retatrutide beats Ozempic in head-to-head Phase 3 diabetes trial
In Lilly's TRANSCEND-T2D-2 trial, retatrutide cut A1C by 2.2% versus 1.8% for Ozempic 2mg and delivered about 20-21% weight loss versus 9.4% at 80 weeks. Retatrutide is still unlicensed in the UK and can't legally be supplied outside trials.
