NICE opens scoping consultation on higher-dose Wegovy (semaglutide 7.2 mg)
NICE is consulting until 30 November 2026 on the remit and draft scope for semaglutide 7.2 mg for weight management in adults (ID6699), including a review of existing TA875. The higher dose is treated as a significant licence extension under VPAG, so cost-effectiveness will be central.
