MHRA warns criminal gangs are exploiting the weight-loss jab boom
The MHRA's chief executive Lawrence Tallon says GLP-1 jabs like Mounjaro and Wegovy have made buying prescription medicines online normal, and organised criminals are moving in. The regulator is planning a crackdown on illegal sellers on social media and online marketplaces. Only buy from a GPhC-registered pharmacy that gives you a proper consultation.
