Fewer than 800 Scots have received weight-loss jabs on the NHS
FOI responses show only 705 people in Scotland had received NHS weight-loss injections by September 2026, three years after Mounjaro was approved for that use. Just five health boards run small pilots; nine others do not routinely prescribe for weight loss. Leading doctors called the gap "discriminatory" as private use soars.
