EU regulator backs Lilly's Foundayo weight-loss pill
The European Medicines Agency's committee recommended approval of Foundayo (orforglipron) for weight management and type 2 diabetes, making it the second oral obesity drug to win EMA backing after the Wegovy pill. The European Commission now makes the final call; Foundayo launched in the UK in August.
