How the prices are checked
Members can report a wrong price or an out of stock message from any row. Reports go to the verification queue, where the Dose Club team checks them against the provider page.
Checked every two hours
An identified collector that honours robots.txt reads each provider's public price pages about every two hours, and a price it checked more than 24 hours ago shows as checking. Pages the collector cannot read are checked by hand, with the date shown, and show as checking after 7 days.
GPhC registered only
Only pharmacies on the General Pharmaceutical Council register are listed. The registration number sits on each provider page, or reads to be verified until it has been checked.
Complete monthly cost
Each figure is the medicine, the compulsory consultation and delivery for one month. Hover over or focus a price for the breakdown and the time it was last checked.
Standard prices only
No codes, sponsored rows or paid placements, and The Dose Club takes no payment from any provider. Nothing a pharmacy does moves it up the table.
