US oral GLP-1 race: Wegovy pill near 174K weekly scripts, Foundayo about 60K
Fierce Pharma's weekly tracker, citing IQVIA data, puts US prescriptions for Novo's Wegovy pill down about 3% to roughly 173,500 and Lilly's Foundayo up about 4% to 60,151. Zepbound still leads the US obesity market at about 802,000 weekly scripts, and the European Commission is expected to sign off Foundayo within weeks.
