Study links weight-loss jabs to nail detachment, hair shedding and scalp inflammation
Research presented at the EADV dermatology congress found 39% of 575 GLP-1 users reported nails lifting from the nail bed versus 9% of non-users, and half reported unusual hair shedding, often with an itchy or inflamed scalp. Experts say the findings are no reason to stop treatment without talking to a clinician.
