Starting Wegovy linked to 16% fewer sick-leave spells in Norwegian registry study
A Novo-funded Norwegian registry study of 27,076 people with at least two weight-related conditions found sick-leave rates were on average 16% lower after starting semaglutide than before. It shows an association rather than proof the drug caused the drop, and Novo used it to press for wider reimbursement in Norway.
