Menopause hormone therapy linked to greater weight loss on semaglutide
A Mayo Clinic study of about 2,400 women over 45 on semaglutide and 1,500 on tirzepatide found hormone therapy was linked to significantly greater, sustained weight loss with semaglutide; the tirzepatide difference was not statistically significant by the end. Researchers say trials are needed and weight loss is not a reason to start HRT.
