Lilly breaks ground on a $6.5bn Houston plant to make Foundayo
Eli Lilly has started building a $6.5 billion manufacturing site in Houston, Texas, focused mainly on its oral GLP-1 orforglipron (Foundayo). It is one of ten planned US sites under Lilly's $50 billion onshoring push and is expected to create more than 4,600 construction and manufacturing jobs.
