Retatrutide Phase 3: up to 18.8% weight loss in people with type 2 diabetes
The TRIUMPH-2 trial, published in The Lancet, gave 1,152 adults with obesity and type 2 diabetes weekly retatrutide for 80 weeks; the top 12mg dose produced average weight loss of 18.8% versus 5.1% on placebo. Retatrutide is still investigational and not licensed anywhere.
