NPA: slow NHS rollout is helping fuel the black market in GLP-1s
Responding to the MPs' report, NPA chief executive Henry Gregg said community pharmacy is ready to support a wider rollout and already treats most UK patients on these medicines. He warned the slow NHS rollout creates a postcode lottery and indirectly fuels unlicensed and counterfeit GLP-1 supply.
