NICE TA1026 and the tirzepatide commissioning gap
NICE recommends Mounjaro (tirzepatide), but NHS access is being phased in, and GP prescribing runs through an optional QOF indicator (OB005). Two neighbouring practices may therefore offer different access, which is why many eligible patients still go private.
