Korea approves Mounjaro for cardiovascular risk reduction and children with type 2 diabetes
South Korea's regulator added two Mounjaro indications: cutting major cardiovascular events in adults with type 2 diabetes and heart disease, and treating type 2 diabetes in children aged 10 and up. The heart indication rests on SURPASS-CVOT, where tirzepatide matched but did not beat dulaglutide.
