How the community rooms are organised and how to use them
Three rooms by medicine, four by stage of treatment and one for prices and stock. Which room fits which question, what the rules allow, and where to find report, block and support.
The Dose Club community has eight rooms. Three are named after medicines, four after stages of treatment and one holds the automatic threads that open when a price or stock position changes. Anyone can read all of them without an account. Posting, commenting and reporting need an account and a confirmation that you are 18 or over. The same thread appears on the website and in the app.
Rooms by medicine
- Mounjaro: the tirzepatide injection. Pens, routines and pharmacy experiences.
- Wegovy: the semaglutide injection. Pens, routines and pharmacy experiences.
- Wegovy tablets: the daily semaglutide tablet. Routines and pharmacy experiences.
These rooms suit anything that depends on the medicine itself: a question about a pen, a delivery, a pharmacy's process or how people organise a weekly or daily routine.
Rooms by stage
- Starting out: the first weeks, what to sort out, what to ask and what to expect from the process.
- Titrating: working through the schedule your prescriber set, with notes, reviews and appointments.
- Maintenance: settled on treatment, and the routines once things are steady.
- Stopping: coming off treatment with your prescriber, and what you keep doing afterwards.
The stage rooms cut across medicines. A list of questions for a first consultation, a way of noting side effects between reviews or what changed in a routine after six months belong here whichever medicine is involved.
Prices and stock
Every verified price change and stock report opens a thread here automatically, named after the provider, the medicine, the dose and the change, so the discussion sits next to the figures. Members also start threads here about price moves. The figures themselves live on the prices and provider pages, and the thread links to them.
What the rules allow
The community rules are published in full on their own page. The short version:
- Describe your own experience. You cannot tell another member to change, skip, split or double a dose, or what dose they should be on. Each person's prescriber decides that.
- No sourcing, selling or vendor talk, and no research peptides or grey market products. The Dose Club lists GPhC registered pharmacies only.
- No referral codes or codes for money off, and no links that carry a referral parameter.
- No contact details: phone numbers, email addresses or messaging handles.
- Content that promotes disordered eating is removed. Posts that describe restricting food or purging are held so a moderator can read them and reply with support.
- Keep it civil, and do not comment on another member's body.
How moderation works
Automated filters check every thread and comment before it is published. A post that breaks a rule is blocked, with the reason shown to its author. A post that needs a human decision is held and shown only to its author until a moderator has read it. Links from accounts under 7 days old are held for review. A moderation team reads every report and every held post within 24 hours. Authors can edit a post for 15 minutes after publishing and delete it at any time; a deleted post shows as removed by its author, and posts from a removed account stay in place with the name taken off so threads keep their context.
Report and block
Every thread, comment and profile has a Report button. Choose a reason, add a note if it helps, and the report goes to the moderation team. Every post and profile also has a Block button. Blocking hides that member's threads and comments from you, you can undo it from their profile, and the member is not told.
Getting more from the rooms
- Put the medicine and the stage in the title when they matter, so the right people find the thread.
- Keep to the practical side: pharmacies, prices, stock, routines, storage, sharps, appointments. That is what the rooms are for and what the rules protect.
- Reply in the thread, where the moderation team can see the conversation, and keep it there.
- Use the Report button when something looks like a sale, a code or dose advice. The team reads every report.
Support
If eating or weight is becoming a source of distress, Beat, the UK eating disorder charity, runs a helpline on 0808 801 0677 in England. The link to Beat appears in the community rules, in the app's settings and on any post a moderator flags. Questions about the rules or a moderation decision go to community@thedoseclub.com.
