Foundayo meets heart-safety goal against insulin in Lilly's biggest type 2 diabetes trial
Lilly's Phase 3 ACHIEVE-4 trial, published in The Lancet, found Foundayo (orforglipron) was no worse than insulin glargine for major heart events in people with type 2 diabetes and raised cardiovascular risk, with better blood sugar and weight results.

About 10.6% of people on Foundayo stopped because of side effects, mostly gut-related, and a separate heart-outcomes trial in obesity is still under way.
